Renting a dumpster is a simple way to keep your cleanup or renovation project organized, but understanding a few important guidelines beforehand can help you avoid unexpected fees.
- Our 15-yard dumpsters include 2 tons of disposal weight, 20-yard dumpsters include 3 tons, and 25-yard dumpsters include 4 tons.
- If your load exceeds the included weight allowance, an overage fee of $190 per additional ton (prorated accordingly) will apply.
- To avoid additional charges, do not fill your dumpster above the top edge, as overfilled dumpsters are subject to a $100 fee.
- Also remember that dumpsters are not automatically picked up—simply contact us when you’re ready to schedule removal. If a pickup or delivery cannot be completed because of something blocking access to the dumpster, a $100 trip fee may apply.
It’s also important to know what can and cannot be placed in your dumpster. For safety and environmental reasons, items such as mattresses, appliances, refrigerators and air conditioners containing Freon, televisions, tires, fluorescent bulbs, chemicals, liquids, propane tanks, vehicle batteries, asbestos, and other hazardous materials are prohibited. Please discuss any questionable items with our customer service team before your rental, as prohibited materials may result in pickup refusal and a $200 per-item fee for anything that must remain in the dumpster. If you’re renting a dumpster specifically for concrete, it must contain concrete only—no wood, trash, or other debris.
